Who is responsible for your information?

Armadillo Safety Limited, trading as Armadillo Safety Solutions, is the controller of information submitted through this enquiry form. Our registered office is 23 St Leonards Road, Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex, TN40 1HH.

Contact info@armadillo-safety.co.uk or 01233 349040 about your information.

What we collect

We ask for your name, email address, company or organisation, the service required and a brief description of your enquiry. First name, telephone, site location and deadline are optional. If you are enquiring for yourself, you can enter “Individual” as the organisation. We also record when the enquiry was received.

Providing this information is your choice. Without a way to contact you and enough information about the request, we may be unable to respond. Please leave out medical information, confidential employee details and information about other people that we do not need.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

We use the information to answer your request, discuss the work and prepare a quote. Where you ask about services for yourself, we rely on taking steps at your request before entering a contract, or performing a contract with you.

For enquiries on behalf of a company or another organisation, and general business enquiries, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to prospective clients and managing business communications. Information used to protect the form from abuse supports our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.

Submitting the form does not subscribe you to marketing. We do not use enquiry details for solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

Who can access it

New form submissions are sent directly to Zoho CRM and stored as enquiries for authorised Armadillo personnel to follow up. An email notification containing your enquiry is sent to our business inbox at info@armadillo-safety.co.uk, which uses Zoho Mail. Enquiries submitted through an earlier version of this website may remain in its protected database archive.

Zoho processes enquiry information on our behalf. Its security-code service also receives technical information, such as your IP address, when the form’s security image loads and when you submit. Our website hosting and storage providers, ChatGPT Sites (OpenAI) and Cloudflare, process information needed to operate the service. Relevant information may also be handled by the communication providers used to respond to you, or disclosed where required by law.

Hosting and technical support may involve processing outside the UK. Contact us for information about the providers, processing locations and applicable transfer arrangements.

How long we keep enquiries

We keep information for handling your request and necessary follow-up. Retention is assessed against whether discussions are still active, whether you become a client, and whether particular records are needed for a complaint, dispute or legal obligation. Information should be removed when these reasons no longer apply. You can ask us to review whether your enquiry still needs to be retained.

Contact clicks and website operation

We count daily clicks on telephone and email links to understand how visitors contact us. These counters do not use tracking cookies or store your name, email address or IP address. They do not establish whether a call or email was completed. Hosting and sign-in providers may separately process technical connection and account information to operate and protect the site.

Optional company visitor identification

If you accept optional tracking, Leadfeeder processes technical visitor information, including IP addresses, pages visited and visit times, to help identify companies visiting our website. We use this information to understand interest in our services and assess relevant business follow-up. An identified company does not establish the identity of the individual visitor.

The Leadfeeder tracker loads only after you accept. Its first-party cookies and browser storage can recognise repeat visits: the _lfa cookie lasts up to one year, and _lfa_expiry browser storage can last up to two years. We store your accept or reject preference in your browser until you change it or clear browser storage. Use “Cookie settings” to change your choice at any time. Rejecting optional tracking does not prevent you using the website.

Leadfeeder processes this visitor information on our behalf. See Leadfeeder’s tracking and data processing information. Contact us to request a review or deletion of visitor information held about you. Any business follow-up is assessed separately for relevance and your right to object.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your information. Data portability may apply where we process information automatically on a contractual basis. Contact us using the details above to exercise a right or ask about our response.

Your right to object

You can object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your situation. We will consider the objection and explain whether there are grounds to continue.

Complaints

Please contact us if you are concerned about how we use your information. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
