He has been practicing health and safety for over 20 years and has a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of safety, including health and safety law and enforcement, school safety, manufacturing, haulage, heavy industry, specifically steel stockholding, steel fabrication, steel construction and engineering and education and schools.
Mark started his career by spending 8 years as a combat engineer in the Royal Engineers, including two Operational Tours of both Kosovo and Sierra Leone.
On leaving the British Army, he left to pursue a career in Health and Safety. He has spent the last 10 years working as a Health and Safety Enforcement Officer, Health and Safety Manager of an International Property Management Company, Health and Safety Consultant and Health and Safety Manager of a Multi Million Pound Steel Stockholders, before starting up Armadillo Safety Solutions in 2012.
Chris Cook is an experienced consultant who has worked for Armadillo Safety Solutions for 4 years. Chris has a huge amount of experience with education and corporate health and safety management, as well as experience of heavy industry. Chris served with Kent Fire and Rescue for over 30 years and has a wealth of knowledge regarding fire safety.
Gary Squires has been practicing health and safety for 20 years and has a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of safety, including, MOD, prison service, school safety, new build/construction, manufacturing, steel fabrication, steel construction, engineering and education / schools.
Gary started his career as a Trainee Locksmith, He then joined the British Army and spent 9 years as a Soldier / Metalsmith in Royal Electrical Mechanical Engineers, including a tour of operation during Gulf War 1.
On leaving the British Army, he left to pursue a career in the Prison Service as an Instructional Officer and then Health and Safety Coordinator for a large category A prison. He has spent the last 20 years working in secondary education teaching engineering. Gary worked his way up to Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for Behaviour and Safety. In 2013 Gary was promoted to Health & Safety Coordinator for an Academy Trust where he has gained a wealth of experience in all Health and Safety disciplines
